Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care

Role Overview:
The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care within a patient care team, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs.
They serve as a key communicator between patients, families, providers, and staff, ensuring patient-centered care and safety.
The nurse participates in performance improvement initiatives, maintains professional competence, and supports shared governance through council involvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, assist with care planning, and deliver safe, effective care according to policies.

Advocate for patients by addressing concerns, providing education, and communicating with families and healthcare team members.

Contribute ideas for process improvement, support initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, satisfaction, and staff performance.

Maintain professional licenses, engage in ongoing training, and seek opportunities for growth and leadership development.

Mentor and support colleagues, uphold confidentiality and safety standards, and embody professionalism and integrity.

Qualifications & Skills:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s nursing degree preferred.
Current RN license with multi-state or single-state certification.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Experience with direct patient care is preferred.
