Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care by collaborating with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs. They serve as a key communication link between patients, families, providers, and staff, ensuring patient-centered care and satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions; assist with care planning and deliver care as outlined, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
  • Document patient assessments, care provided, and incidents accurately, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with policies.
  • Advocate for patients and families by addressing concerns, providing education, and ensuring effective communication.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, supporting organizational goals for quality and satisfaction.
  • Maintain professional licenses, certifications, and engage in ongoing development; foster growth of colleagues through mentorship.
  • Adhere to safety, confidentiality, and professional standards; promote a positive work environment aligned with shared governance principles.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Current RN license (single state or multi-state compact) required.
  • Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) required upon hire.
  • Experience in direct patient care preferred.
