We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee resident care and staff supervision, ensuring high-quality services in accordance with policies and the Director of Nursing (DON).
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current Kansas licensure
- Strong leadership and collaborative skills
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
Responsibilities include:
- Completing RN record-keeping during resident admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Preparing and administering medications as prescribed
- Facilitating resident transfers and discharges
- Performing medical procedures such as catheterization, wound care, and specimen collection
- Collaborating with consultants and implementing recommended changes
- Addressing grievances and conducting daily resident checks
- Keeping the DON informed about resident and staff status
