Role: Staff RN responsible for providing direct resident care in a skilled nursing facility, utilizing the nursing process to assess, document, and administer medications and treatments.
Responsibilities:
- Assess residents, document care activities, and monitor patient flow.
- Communicate findings to charge nurses and supervisors.
- Prepare resident assignments based on needs and staff competencies.
- Respond promptly to resident concerns and needs.
- Ensure documentation of activities such as ADLs and meal intake.
- Maintain punctuality and proper notification for absences.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate of an approved nursing program and licensed in good standing in the state.
- Desire to work with elderly, chronically ill, and disabled populations.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of medical, social, and psychological needs, infection control, and nursing practices.
- Ability to foster a cooperative and enthusiastic environment for rehabilitation and growth.
