Role: Registered Nurse Pulmonary Stepdown provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a progressive care setting.
Responsibilities: Assess patient conditions, perform procedures as ordered, document care accurately, administer medications, and monitor patient responses. Collaborate with medical providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes and serve as an advocate for patients to enhance their experience.
Qualifications: Minimum one year of RN experience, associate degree in nursing (BSN preferred), current RN licensure in North Carolina, and BLS certification. Hospital nursing experience and specialty certification are preferred.
Skills: Strong assessment, documentation, medication administration, and collaboration skills. Knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical procedures and equipment.
