Position: Registered Nurse in Pulmonary Medicine Unit, caring for higher acuity patients.
Responsibilities: Develops and evaluates care plans, assesses patient health data, communicates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams, and provides education tailored to individual needs. Assists with procedures, participates in performance improvement, supports staff development, and ensures compliance with HIPAA. Conducts wound/ostomy/skin care rounds if skilled, and offers psychological support.
Qualifications: Associate degree or higher in Nursing; active Illinois RN license; ACLS and BLS certifications. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and inpatient experience.
Skills: Strong communication, assessment, teaching, and collaboration abilities, with knowledge of wound/ostomy care and emergency procedures.
