Role: Registered Nurse in Pulmonary Medicine Unit, providing care for higher acuity patients.
Responsibilities include: Developing and evaluating individualized care plans, assessing patient health data, communicating with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams, and documenting care activities.
Providing patient education tailored to cultural and learning needs, supporting professional development of colleagues, offering psychological support, assisting with technical procedures like injections and IV management, and participating in performance improvement and research activities.
Qualifications: Active Illinois RN license, Associate Degree or higher in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), ACLS and BLS certifications, and one year of inpatient nursing experience is highly preferred.
Skills: Strong communication, clinical assessment, patient education, teamwork, and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
