Role and Responsibilities:
Provide independent nursing care in a clinical setting, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of patient situations.
Perform routine and complex patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation, aligned with professional standards.
Make appropriate assignments and delegate tasks to other care providers to effectively manage clinical situations.
Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families, tailoring care accordingly.
Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness.
Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers, identifying issues and available resources.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty is preferred.
- Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
- BLS certification required.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate leadership, and adapt to complex clinical situations.
