Progressive Care Registered Nurse
Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to moderately to critically ill patients in a fast-paced progressive care/step-down environment.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring.
- Monitor telemetry and vital signs; promptly respond to changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications and IV therapies according to clinical protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate care.
- Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and health management.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the EHR.
Key qualifications & skills: Registered Nurse license, strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills, ability to monitor and manage complex patients, medication/IV administration proficiency, effective communication and teamwork, and accurate electronic documentation.
