This role is a PRN nursing position offering a flexible schedule with multiple tiered pay rates based on shifts completed, including shift differentials for nights and weekends.
Responsibilities include:
- Practicing independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex patient care.
- Applying the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—for assigned patients.
- Addressing patients’ psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
- Administering medications and treatments using appropriate protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
- Documenting patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
- Assessing learning needs and providing education to patients, families, and caregivers.
- Making appropriate care assignments and delegations to team members.
Qualifications and skills required:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
- At least 1 year of related nursing experience preferred.
- Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
