Registered Nurse – Preoperative

The role involves providing independent nursing care in a clinical or perioperative setting, demonstrating expertise in assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.


Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring treatment effects, documenting patient information, and addressing psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.


Key duties also encompass patient education, delegation of tasks, and ensuring compliance with organizational and professional standards.


Qualifications include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred), at least 1 year of related nursing experience (preferred), and current BLS, RN license, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications.


Additional requirements involve completing onboarding within 30 days, attending orientation, and obtaining any position-specific certifications within designated time frames. Experience in perioperative or similar settings is preferred.
