Role Overview: The Inpatient Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care, including assessments, treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies, while addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families. They develop, coordinate, and implement individualized care plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Complete assessments in accordance with scope of practice and standards.
- Evaluate and revise care plans based on patient responses.
- Coordinate discharge planning and patient education.
- Initiate collaboration with physicians and healthcare team members.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and promote evidence-based practices.
- Participate in quality, safety, and unit-based decision-making activities.
- Contribute to a positive patient experience through compassionate interactions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Ability to perform clinical assessments and deliver direct patient care.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality improvement.
