Registered Nurse – Per Diem

Role: Registered Nurse – Infusion

Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, individualized nursing care for infusion therapy patients, including administering injectable medications, managing vascular access, and ensuring safety protocols. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with team members. Maintain documentation, promote safety, and contribute to professional development. Recognize and respond to emergency situations and integrate research into practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum 1 year of staff nurse experience; infusion, hematology/oncology preferred

Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred

Current Illinois Nursing license and CPR certification required

Proficiency in vascular access, infusion procedures, and medication handling

Strong communication, ethical practice, and ability to adapt to different situations

Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification preferred
