Role Overview: Provides patient care using the nursing process, ensuring accountability, evaluating care effectiveness, and coordinating with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality, aligning with organizational standards and values.
Responsibilities: Performs duties in various departments (e.g., Behavioral Health, ED, ICU, Med-Surg, Women’s Health). Flexibly schedules shifts (day/night) without weekend or holiday commitments, with potential for last-minute shifts and cancellations. Ensures safe, effective care and supports team collaboration.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Current RN license in the state or compact licensure. Minimum of one year recent Med-Surg RN experience or two years in specialty areas. Certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS as applicable. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform various movements.
Skills & Qualities: Flexibility, responsiveness, strong clinical skills, and adherence to safety standards. Epic experience preferred.
