Position Overview: Provides specialized nursing care in a 16-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) with a focus on family-centered care.
Responsibilities: Deliver direct patient care, monitor vital signs, administer medications, collaborate with healthcare teams, and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Support families and contribute to a positive, caring environment.
Qualifications & Skills: Valid Illinois RN license, associate degree or higher in Nursing (Bachelor’s Degree required within five years if only an associate degree), current BLS certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within three months, and pediatric PICU RN experience preferred.
Key Duties: Provide high-quality nursing care during night shifts, participate in rotations including weekends and holidays, and contribute to a team dedicated to professional growth and community health.
