Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care in a pediatric dialysis setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. Promotes patient and family-centered care through education on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Participates in activities that ensure patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values, cultural, spiritual, and population-specific considerations.
- Contributes to professional development and promotes a healing environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- RN licensure required.
- Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of RN experience is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Ability to work safely and maintain constant alertness.
