Key Responsibilities:
- Monitors patient volumes, manages placement based on acuity, and communicates issues to leadership.
- Coordinates bed availability and collaborates with ancillary departments to address delays.
- Utilizes tele-tracking to identify available beds and facilitates patient transfers.
- Ensures timely discharge processes and room turnover, providing comprehensive status reports to team members.
- Addresses barriers to expedite patient care and resource allocation, including transportation coordination.
- Serves as a communication link between staff and leadership to optimize patient flow.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of a nursing specialty training program; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills are essential. Work is performed in a clinical environment in compliance with organizational policies.
Additional Information: Requires working evening/night shifts, including every other weekend and holidays. Prioritizes patient safety, quality, and collaborative teamwork.
