Role Overview:
Provides patient care using the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness.
Coordinates patient care with other departments, maintains patient rights, and protects confidentiality.
Operates in alignment with organizational mission, values, and standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
– Graduation from a nursing school (Associate’s, Diploma, or BSN).
– Current RN license for the state or compact licensure.
– BLS certification, with additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC) based on unit requirements.
– Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various movements such as bending and reaching.
