Role Overview: The Registered Clinic Nurse provides primary nursing support, assisting physicians and patients in diagnosis and treatment, while promoting patient education and adherence to care plans.
Key Responsibilities: Acts as clinic lead, overseeing workflow and staffing; triages patient calls; collects medical histories, vital signs, and prepares patients for examinations.
Assists with invasive procedures, manages laboratory specimen collection, and ensures accurate documentation.
Administers medications, including IV push, oral, and topical forms, and manages IV therapy such as conscious sedation and intrathecal pump maintenance.
Monitors patient condition during procedures, educates patients on treatments, and ensures proper operation of diagnostic equipment.
Maintains sterile techniques, prepares procedure rooms, and educates staff and patients.
Qualifications & Skills: Requires graduate from specialty nursing training, at least one year of RN experience preferred, and competencies in sterile technique and medication administration.
Must complete annual competencies in radiation safety and advanced cardiovascular life support.
