Role Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment plans. They utilize technology, evidence-based practices, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and address patients’ physical and psychological needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Communicate compassionately with patients and families.
- Oversee care provided by LPNs and CNAs, participating in clinical team conferences.
- Follow regulatory, hospital, and professional guidelines and documentation standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred or required within four years unless exempted by experience.
- Current RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to operate monitors, assess patient needs, and communicate effectively.
- Manual dexterity for handling equipment and supplies.
- Physical ability to lift, transfer, and assist with patient mobility.
