Registered Nurse – Orthopedic, Neurology, and Spine Unit – PRN

This role involves providing independent nursing care in a clinical setting, demonstrating proficiency in routine and complex patient care while managing long-term goals and contingency plans.


Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering nursing care based on the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
  • Addressing psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
  • Administering medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
  • Documenting patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
  • Assessing learning needs and educating patients, families, and caregivers.
  • Delegating tasks appropriately to care providers.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • At least 1 year of related nursing experience preferred.
  • Active RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
  • Current BLS certification.

The position offers flexible scheduling with various shift tiers and differential pay for nights and weekends, with a focus on leadership, clinical competence, and patient-centered care.
