Position: Registered Nurse providing perioperative care in a hospital setting, with the ability to float to multiple locations.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients during the perioperative period.
- Assess the surgical environment for safety concerns and intervene as needed, collaborating with the surgical team.
- Act as a patient advocate, ensuring safety and optimal outcomes.
- Assist with onboarding, staff education, and maintaining necessary supplies and equipment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate of a state-approved nursing school; BSN preferred.
- Valid IL RN license and CPR/BLS certification.
- Preferred: 2+ years of perioperative RN experience and basic computer skills.
Key Duties: Providing specialized perioperative patient care, ensuring safety, supporting staff orientation, and maintaining a safe surgical environment.
