Operating Room Registered Nurse providing safe, evidence-based perioperative nursing care for surgical patients.
Key duties
- Circulate and scrub for a variety of surgical procedures.
- Coordinate and communicate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative team members to support smooth case flow.
- Maintain strict sterile technique and ensure safety throughout the procedure.
- Perform patient assessments, implement and update care plans, and support readiness for surgery.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and assist as needed to protect patient safety.
- Ensure accurate, complete perioperative documentation.
Qualifications & skills
- Active RN licensure and experience in perioperative/operating room care.
- Strong clinical judgment, patient assessment skills, and ability to manage priorities.
- Excellent teamwork and communication in a fast-paced environment.
- Thorough knowledge of sterile processing principles and perioperative safety practices.
- Ability to respond effectively under pressure while maintaining quality care.
