Role Overview: The Inpatient Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care in a clinical setting, assessing, planning, and evaluating nursing activities to meet individual needs.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments, address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs, develop and implement care plans, administer treatments and medications, and evaluate intervention effectiveness. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, troubleshoot equipment issues, participate in evidence-based practice decisions, and contribute to quality and safety initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (required), Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred). Demonstrates compassionate care, strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability skills. Ability to manage patients across various acuity levels and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Additional Details: Specialized training in chemotherapy and bone marrow transplant care is provided for oncology patients. Experience in medical-surgical and advanced care settings is valued.
