Position: Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) on the W.E.S.T. Float Team.
Responsibilities include: delivering personalized, evidence-based care across the nursing process from assessment to evaluation; building meaningful patient and family connections; fostering a safe, collaborative team environment; participating in performance improvement, research, and shared governance; mentoring fellow nurses; applying evidence-based practices; contributing to patient care decisions; and proactively planning care to enhance patient experiences and resource efficiency.
Qualifications: graduation from an accredited nursing program; RN license (single or multi-state); BLS and ACLS certifications; minimum of 2 years recent Med Surg experience; experience with computer data entry; familiarity with Epic and 3M systems preferred.
Skills required: excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic tech tools; ability to remain calm under pressure; strong critical thinking, time management, and commitment to evidence-based practice.
