Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Unit

Role: Inpatient Registered Nurse responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments, develop, coordinate, and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Provide direct patient care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures, ensuring adherence to policies.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust care plans based on patient responses.
  • Collaborate proactively with physicians and healthcare personnel to address patient needs and resolve issues.
  • Participate in decision-making, quality improvement, and safety initiatives to enhance care delivery.
  • Engage in patient and family education, discharge planning, and support for holistic needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and handle equipment troubleshooting.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and compassionate patient interaction.

Additional Details: Role includes participating in unit-based decision-making, safety programs, and quality initiatives. Work is performed in a clinical environment, with responsibilities to ensure optimal patient and family experiences. Shift hours are typically from 7 am to 7:30 pm, with weekend and holiday requirements.
