Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Unit

Role: Inpatient Registered Nurse responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care, assessments, and discharge planning in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments within scope of practice and standards.
  • Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute individualized care plans, including education and discharge planning.
  • Provide direct care such as treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures following policies.
  • Evaluate intervention effectiveness and revise care plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate proactively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to meet patient needs.
  • Troubleshoot and troubleshoot equipment and participate in evidence-based practice decisions.
  • Contribute to team goals, quality improvement, and safety initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate from a Nursing Specialty Training Program (required); Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.

Additional Details: Work involves clinical environment duties, with a focus on safety, quality, and patient satisfaction. The role may include weekend and holiday shifts, with a focus on high-quality nursing practice and continuous improvement.
