Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Unit

Role: Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments and develop, coordinate, and implement individualized care plans.
  • Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
  • Provide direct care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures.
  • Evaluate intervention effectiveness and adjust care plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in decision-making, quality, and safety initiatives, and promote evidence-based practices.
  • Contribute to a positive patient experience through compassionate interactions and safety focus.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Ability to perform assessments, coordinate care, and collaborate effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to quality improvement, safety, and patient satisfaction.

Additional Details: Work involves shift work, including evenings, nights, and weekends, with a focus on teamwork, safety, and continuous learning. The role emphasizes compassionate care, adherence to policies, and active participation in organizational quality initiatives.
