Sign-on Bonus Available. Located in Athens, GA, this full-time day shift (7am-7pm) nursing position is in the Med Surg 2: Pulmonary unit, which is expanding with growth opportunities. The nurse collaborates with hospitalists, pulmonologists, and respiratory therapists to care for patients with respiratory issues.
The role involves providing high-quality nursing care for patients across all ages, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care within organizational policies. The nurse coordinates patient care activities and maintains practice standards.
Qualifications include a valid Georgia RN license, BLS certification, and a graduate from an accredited nursing program. New graduates are eligible; hospital experience is preferred. Additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS, chemotherapy) may be required based on specialty.
