Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Orthopedics

This registered nurse position in the Orthopedics department involves delivering safe, therapeutic, and compassionate patient care using the nursing process and organizational policies. The RN must demonstrate clinical competence and critical thinking, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The role requires a current RN license in Arkansas, with a BSN preferred, and the ability to meet standard care expectations. The nurse will participate as a full partner in an interdisciplinary team, with training provided for specialty certifications if needed. CPR certification is mandatory, and additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, or NALS may be required depending on the unit. The position offers a 72-hour bi-weekly work schedule during daytime hours, from 06:30 to 19:00.

  • A new RN graduate or RN in good standing with Arkansas license
  • Ability to apply basic nursing knowledge and skills
  • Collaborative team participant
  • Participation in Clinical Nurse Advancement Program is not required
  • CPR certification required; specialty training provided as needed
  • Specialty units may require additional certifications and training
