Role Overview:
Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. Coordinates patient care across departments, upholds patient rights and confidentiality, and performs duties aligned with organizational mission, values, and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
– Deliver comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients
– Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
– Maintain patient confidentiality and rights
– Ensure adherence to safety and care standards
– Evaluate and improve care quality based on patient outcomes
Qualifications & Skills:
– Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s, Diploma, or BSN)
– Valid RN license in the state or compact license
– Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
– Additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, ENPC) may be needed based on unit
– Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and reaching
