Qualifications include a graduate from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor’s preferred), with no experience required; new graduates are eligible. Prior hospital experience is preferred. Must hold an active Georgia RN license or multistate license, along with BCLS certification. Additional specialty certifications are required based on the unit, such as ACLS, PALS, or chemotherapy certification, with some certifications needed within 180 days of start. Pediatric and women’s services nurses may need specialized certifications like NRP or AWHONN Fetal Monitoring.
