Position: Registered Nurse – Medical Pulmonary Unit – Nights
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients and gather health data involving patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Coordinate patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, timely, and appropriate.
- Communicate effectively in person, via phone, and in writing with colleagues and patients.
- Individualize patient and family education based on thorough assessments to meet learning needs.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.
- Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited nursing school.
- Current Illinois nursing license.
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
Key Duties: Providing comprehensive patient assessments, care coordination, education, and quality improvement to deliver safe, effective nursing care in a hospital setting.
