Position: RN – Medical Oncology Unit
Responsibilities: Provide professional nursing care, assess patient conditions, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document observations. Delegate tasks appropriately and collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve unit goals.
Qualifications: Requires 1+ years’ RN experience in an inpatient setting, current Illinois RN license, CPR certification, and chemotherapy/biotherapy certification within one year. A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred; an Associate Degree is acceptable if a Bachelor’s is obtained within five years.
Skills: Critical thinking, assessment, delegation, teamwork, and adherence to hospital policies.
