Role: Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery and Post-Partum, providing safe, effective, and compassionate care.
Responsibilities:
- Independently deliver patient-centered nursing care in the LDRP setting.
- Utilize the nursing process for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
- Supervise and coordinate assigned unlicensed assistive personnel.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Contribute to safety and high-quality patient experiences.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
- Current IL nursing license and BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association).
- At least 1 year of acute care or labor and delivery/post-partum experience (preferred).
- Experience in labor and delivery or postpartum nursing is highly desirable.
Additional Details: Full-time position with 36 hours/week, includes on-call duties and weekend rotation. Travel to float to Post-Partum Evanston Hospital is required. Compensation ranges from $37.25 to $57.74 per hour, based on experience.
