Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery – Clinical Team Coordinator

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in an inpatient setting, supervises assigned staff, and supports team development. Responsible for coordinating nursing activities, ensuring high-quality, safe, and cost-effective care, and fostering a positive work environment aligned with Magnet principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervises daily nursing operations, including staffing, scheduling, and supply management.
  • Mentors staff, conducts performance evaluations, and addresses performance issues.
  • Communicates patient care information and unit activities effectively to team members and leadership.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  • Supports evidence-based practices, professional growth, and patient satisfaction initiatives.
  • Manages incident follow-up, documentation, and resolution of patient and family concerns.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Enrollment in a BSN program and at least 2 years of experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to promote a collaborative, safe, and efficient environment.
