Role: Inpatient RN responsible for delivering direct patient care, supervising staff, and supporting unit operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and oversee nursing staff, including orientation, performance evaluations, and addressing performance issues.
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, supply management, and patient/bed triage.
- Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and visitors regarding care activities, policies, and regulations.
- Participate in developing nursing policies, promote evidence-based practices, and support a positive work environment aligned with Magnet principles.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, optimize resource use, and address patient and family concerns.
- Document incidents, follow up on unit issues, and support quality and safety initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Enrollment in BSN program with 2 years of experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to foster a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
