Role Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) manages nursing care in the cath lab and interventional radiology, supporting hospital operations with energy and motivation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings.
- Develop and coordinate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Implement and document nursing interventions, monitor patient conditions, and recognize changes requiring physician notification.
- Evaluate care effectiveness and adjust plans accordingly.
- Demonstrate professionalism through ongoing education, resource sharing, and problem-solving.
- Follow safety, infection control, and service standards to ensure a secure, respectful environment.
- Provide patient-centered, culturally sensitive care across all age groups, including specialized high-risk interventions and pain management.
- Identify and report abuse or neglect, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with at least one year of medical-surgical experience; critical care or PACU experience preferred. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and a valid RN license for the relevant state. Physical ability to lift and transfer patients is essential.
