Registered Nurse – Internal Travel ICU

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive, patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment. Utilizing evidence-based practices, technology, and therapeutic interventions, RNs collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities: Assess physical, psychological, and social patient status; develop individualized care plans; coordinate and delegate care; prepare patients for discharge; evaluate responses and adapt interventions; ensure legal and ethical compliance and accurate documentation.

Clinical Focus: Manage conditions such as sepsis, diabetes, electrolyte imbalances, gastrointestinal and respiratory disorders, cardiac issues, kidney and liver diseases, and post-surgical care.

Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 2 years recent ICU or Med/Surg experience, current RN license, and BLS certification. Strong critical thinking, adaptability, manual dexterity, and effective communication skills are essential.

Additional Duties: Support multiple units, float as needed, operate complex equipment, assist with patient mobility, and handle supplies and documentation. Flexibility to work variable shifts and accept assignments across multiple locations within the network is required.
