Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering safe, high-quality nursing care and maintaining continuity across units.
- Integrating quickly into new teams and stabilizing units during staffing gaps.
- Performing assessments, administering treatments, and responding to patient condition changes.
- Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
- Modeling best practices and supporting system and technology adoption.
- Mentoring staff and promoting professional nursing standards.
- Ensuring consistent, high-quality care aligned with organizational mission.
Qualifications and skills include:
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing, with a preference for a Bachelor’s or BSN.
- At least 2 years of experience in Med Surg, Tele, Critical Care, ED, or Women’s units.
- Current compact licensure, with additional certifications preferred.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills.
- Ability to interpret clinical information and adapt care based on patient age and needs.
- Completion of specific clinical certifications, such as NIH Stroke Scale, within required timelines.
