We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position on our Medical/Telemetry Unit, offering comprehensive benefits and a night shift schedule.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing safe, compassionate, patient-centered care by assessing psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and cultural needs. Developing and implementing individualized care plans, coordinating interdisciplinary treatment, and discharge planning. Performing hourly rounds to enhance communication, safety, and meet patient needs proactively. Collaborating with patients and families to address educational, physical, psychological, and spiritual needs. Following communication protocols like SBAR to ensure safe handoffs and care transitions. Qualifications and skills: Graduate of an accredited RN program with an active Nevada nursing license. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Minimum of one year full-time or three years part-time experience in an acute care setting. Strong communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills.
