Role Overview: This position is for a full-time Inpatient Registered Nurse in the Central Region Float Pool, providing direct patient care in a clinical setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing assessments and addressing patients’ physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans, including patient education and discharge planning.
- Administering treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures in accordance with policies.
- Evaluating intervention effectiveness and adjusting care plans accordingly.
- Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to meet patient needs.
- Troubleshooting equipment and participating in evidence-based practice decisions.
- Engaging in quality and safety initiatives and contributing to team goals.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a specialty training program, with the ability to float between multiple hospital locations. Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential.
Work Environment & Schedule: Typically performs in a clinical setting, with rotating day/night shifts, including weekends and holidays, working 36 hours weekly across three 12-hour shifts.
