Position: Registered Nurse
Location: Chicago
Type: Full time
Hours: 3p to 11:30p M-F with call requirements, including nights and weekends
Responsibilities include:
- Utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for patients and families
- Maintaining current competency standards and contributing to peer development
- Applying ethical principles and integrating evidence-based practices and research
- Recognizing and adapting to varying clinical situations, promoting safety, and guiding staff in patient care
- Ensuring thorough and timely documentation, maintaining a safe environment, and responding to emergencies
- Performing additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Valid IL RN license, CPR/BLS certification, and ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications within 90 days
- At least one year of nursing experience preferred; strong communication and supervisory skills for experienced RNs
- Reliable transportation for floating as needed
