Position: RN – Adult Psychiatry
Location: Evanston Hospital, IL
Role Overview: Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult psychiatric patients, utilizing the nursing process for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. Lead and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, guiding unlicensed personnel to ensure high-quality outcomes and patient safety. Communicate effectively to promote continuity of care and positive patient experiences.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current IL Nursing Licensure
- Graduate of NLN-accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
- Adult Psychiatry experience preferred
Key Duties:
- Deliver effective nursing care on designated units
- Supervise unlicensed staff and coordinate team efforts
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes
- Contribute to safety and quality improvement initiatives
