The nurse communicates continuously with surgeons and anesthesiologists about patient status, monitors vital signs, and supports the surgical team. Key duties also involve preparing patients, managing endoscopes and instruments, and participating in performance improvement activities.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program, Associate degree required, BSN preferred
- Minimum of two years post-graduate experience in Surgery or Medical/Surgical Nursing
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
