This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, responsible for providing patient-centered emergency care in a rural, 20-bed unit serving Rutherford County and nearby communities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing thorough patient assessments and identifying care needs
- Initiating appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings
- Providing age- and condition-specific nursing care
- Completing accurate documentation to support medical necessity
- Developing and updating interdisciplinary care plans
Qualifications and skills:
- Current NC license or Compact license with NC endorsement
- BLS certification required within 30 days; ACLS within 90 days
- Associate’s degree in nursing (Bachelor’s preferred)
- Minimum of one year RN experience in Emergency Department
