Role: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, patient-centered care in emergency settings, collaborating with medical teams to assess, perform procedures, and educate patients and families.
Responsibilities: Assess and manage patient pain, document care, respond promptly to patient needs, and teach about medical conditions, treatments, and lifestyle changes. The RN advocates for patients and ensures age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, current RN license, and certifications in BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC. 1-2 years of acute or specialty nursing experience, with critical care experience preferred.
Key Skills: Strong clinical judgment, communication, problem-solving, and ability to work within scope of practice. Knowledge of nursing models and ability to provide compassionate, comprehensive care.
Additional Duties: Engage with EMS community, perform delegated tasks, and deliver age-appropriate care based on patient needs.
