Position: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department
Location: Naperville, IL
Hours: Night shift, 7:00pm-7:00am, with every third weekend and rotating holidays
Responsibilities: Provide professional nursing care in accordance with state laws and hospital policies. Assess patient conditions, recognize changes, plan, evaluate, and monitor care. Delegate tasks appropriately and collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve unit goals.
Qualifications: Associate degree or higher in Nursing; if holding an associate degree, must obtain a Bachelor’s within five years. Requires 1+ years of ED experience. Must hold current Illinois RN licensure, CPR certification, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications (all within specified timeframes).
Skills: Critical thinking, assessment, documentation, teamwork, delegation, and adherence to nursing standards.
