Role Overview: Provides clinical leadership in an acute inpatient setting, ensuring patient-centered care through evidence-based nursing practices.
Responsibilities include: Conducting assessments, developing and updating individualized care plans with interdisciplinary teams, and setting measurable goals for patient outcomes.
Performs direct patient care, delegates tasks, monitors care quality, and ensures safety protocols are followed. Utilizes performance data for quality improvement and documents effectively.
Educates patients and families, advocates for their needs, and maintains professional licensure and competency. Collaborates with healthcare team members to coordinate care and ensure smooth transitions post-discharge.
Qualifications: Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), at least one year of RN experience or equivalent residency/training, and current RN licensure in the practicing state.
Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and clinical practices. Strong communication, assessment, and collaboration skills. Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and utilize technology.
Additional Info: This is a non-management role reporting to a supervisor, with work primarily in the evening shift at an emergency department facility.
