Position: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Evening shift)
Location: Arlington Heights, IL
Hours: 3pm-3am, every 3rd weekend
Responsibilities:
- Provides comprehensive patient assessments and collects health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Coordinates patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, appropriate, and timely.
- Communicates effectively in person, over the phone, and in writing with patients and team members.
- Delivers individualized patient and family education based on thorough assessments.
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practices.
- Maintains current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Illinois nursing license.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
